12/27/12 marks my 30th anniversary in public
accounting. While it's hard for clients
to get excited about tax compliance, having an understanding about the
particulars helps in making cost- and cash flow-effective business decisions.
My goal is to help clients understand what we are doing, why, and how it
integrates into the big picture.
Yet, as it turns out, "the big picture" is not always what it appears to be. Therefore, since the mid-2000s, I have become an avid student of economics and follower of federal monetary policy. In doing so, I'm able to add an extra dimension to people's understanding as to how activities of the federal government impact their ability to do business, make a living, and/or otherwise preserve their wealth.

Through strategic partnerships with others sharing a common
vision, I am actively building a team of service providers that challenge the
status quo. Only with an understanding that today's world is particularly
volatile can one not only keep what they've earned, but prosper in a period
that has been called "the biggest transfer of wealth in the history of the
world".
